This Old Fashioned whiskey recipe is another classic.. Again, this one usually calls for a blended whiskey, but why not experiment with one of your favourite single malt drams!
o 2 oz whiskey (blend)
o 1/4 oz simple syrup
o 2 dashes Angostura bitters
o Garnish: orange peel and/or cherry
Instructions:
1. In a mixing glass, add simple syrup and bitters.
2. Fill the glass with ice cubes.
3. Pour whiskey over the ice.
4. Stir well for about 30 seconds to combine.
5. Strain the mixture into a rocks glass filled with ice.
6. Garnish with an orange peel and/or cherry.
